5-HTP

L-5-hydroxytryptophan (a.k.a. 5-HTP) is a naturally
occurring amino acid and chemical precursor as well as a
metabolic intermediate in the biosynthesis of the
neurotransmitters, serotonin and melatonin, from
tryptophan.
